He/she will be leading and supporting a team of electronic engineers involved in the electronic design of Electromagnetic Locators, Interferometric and Ground Penetrating Radar equipment.
The candidate will coordinate and define the different activities within the team, according to the priorities, in alignment with R&D goals and objectives.
The candidate will participate to the whole life of the products (design, development, testing, start of production, life-cycle management)

The resource, reporting to the Mechanical Design Engineer Team Leader, will be responsible for the design of the mechanical parts for IDSGeoradar’s products, such as ground penetrating radar, interferometric radar, cable locator equipment; he/she will work on all the product design phases (conception, development, testing of prototypes, manufacturing and implementation, life cycle) with special reference to:
- designing systems and components that meet product requirements (including manufacturing cost)
- draw up product documentation, technical drawings and release on Enterprise Resource Planning

What we want you to do
- Conceive mechanical concepts meeting the product requirements, develop the most suitable mechanical solution, design all the relevant parts and assure continuously the correspondence to the technical needs and specifications.
- Verify and verification: develop mock-up, test methodologies and test equipment to evaluate design concepts
- Life Cycle: problem analysis on released product, concerning mechanics, definition of solution strategies, develop and realize the relevant item, testing the solution and report on the effectiveness of the corrective action.

What we want you to do
The candidate will be UI/UX responsible for all the IDS GeoRadar software and solutions and will act as reference person toward Hexagon Geosystem strategy team. The position includes the following duties and responsibilities:
- Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and R&D
- Collaborate with Hexagon Geosystem UI/UX strategic team to ensure the consistency of IDS GeoRadar UI/UX with the company guidelines
- Produce high-quality UX design solutions through wireframes, visual and graphic designs, flow diagrams, storyboards, site maps, and prototypes to illustrate design concepts

- Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
