Guardian
IDS GeoRadar's powerful software platform to safely and productively manage Slope Stability risks
Guardian software
Guardian is IDS GeoRadar's powerful, feature-rich and user-friendly platform for safety-critical monitoring in open pit mines and tailings dam. Guardian software enables fast interpretation and therefore fast reaction to the data collected in real-time by the radar systems during monitoring projects. Powerful Hazard Maps and alarming options and comprehensive geotechnical analysis tools are available for the geotechnical teams, who are immediately alerted (email, SMS or pop-up alerts) in case of alarm activation.
Guardian enables fast interpretation and therefore fast reaction time to vital real-time information delivered by IDS GeoRadar radar systems: IBIS-FM EVO and ArcSAR Neo.
Reliable data with flexible alerts in real-time
Highly accurate displacement data is provided to monitoring specialists in real-time using Hi-Sense the state-of-the-art Automatic Atmospheric Correction algorithm.
Guardian offers alert messaging options and comprehensive geotechnical analysis tools. Monitoring specialists are immediately alerted in the event of slope displacement by means of various instant messaging options such as email, SMS or pop-up alerts.
Advanced atmospherics management
IDS GeoRadar was the first to implement automatic advanced management of atmospherics. With the Hi-Sense algorithm, effects introduced by fast-changing meteorological conditions, such as stormy weather, are processed with unparalleled fidelity facilitating the interpretation of data and improving productivity in radar slope monitoring: reduced false positives and extended sensitivity to a wider range of movement trends. Hi-Sense offers an evolved atmospheric model built on 360° circular processing for the most accurate and reliable data, facilitating its interpretation and improving productivity in radar slope monitoring.
Smart Data feature: data fusion to generate new insights from your slope monitoring data
Smart Data is a cutting-edge feature set seamlessly integrated into Guardian software to improve slope behavior analysis. Leveraging data fusion technology Smart Data allows a true fusion between radar and prism data merging the discrete prism direction with the spatially distributed radar measurements for a full understanding of slope movement.
Advanced data integration for even clearer understanding of slope stability
Automatically import different total station and GNSS datasets, for example from Leica GeoMoS© and others, to enable even clearer understanding of slope stability. Monitoring experts can compare prism and GNSS displacement trends, by mean of time series or Stereonet charts, with IBIS radar data to understand movement behavior that much faster.
Moreover, Guardian software is integrated with MinePlan 3D by Hexagon Mining. Data acquired from our IBIS radars can now be imported to MineSight 3D in support of mine planning to optimize pit design and Life of Mine (LOM) by evaluating the impact of instabilities on the expected mine expansion.
Full Pit Monitoring 360 & True Vector
Guardian offers Full Pit Monitoring (FPM) capabilities, stitching together data sets from multiple IBIS radar systems onto a single radar map. The True Vector technology automatically resolve the spatial direction of displacement for hundreds of thousands of overlapping radar pixels monitored simultaneously by two or more radars.
Guardian Slow Movement analysis
Guardian for Slow Movement analysis is an essential tool providing support to mine design, planning, and risk mitigation strategies. Guardian for Slow Movement analysis offers two distinct processing algorithms to satisfy the diverse needs of different monitoring scenarios: Guardian SM and the new Guardian SMV.
Guardian SM is the processing algorithm designed for the continuous monitoring of extremely slow movement (<10mm/month) in support of advanced pit design and slope optimization in non-vegetated scenarios. To ensure maximum data reliability even in low-vegetated environments, IDSGeoRadar recently developed the new Guardian SMV, the first processing algorithm capable of reducing the negative effects of vegetation for clean radar data. Guardian SM and Guardian SMV make interpretation of slow movement radar data easier for users providing reliable detection of displacements in the mm per week, per month, or longer timeframes.
