We are looking for an Electronic Design Team Leader.

He/she will be leading and supporting a team of electronic engineers involved in the electronic design of Electromagnetic Locators, Interferometric and Ground Penetrating Radar equipment.
The candidate will coordinate and define the different activities within the team, according to the priorities, in alignment with R&D goals and objectives.
The candidate will participate to the whole life of the products (design, development, testing, start of production, life-cycle management)

  • Ensures the quality of the performed efforts of the team
  • Manage the workload assigned to the team within the assigned resources
  • Organization of team’s work; it includes the setting of individual projects, goals and communications. It is the responsibility of the team leader to organize team meetings, topics of discussion and progress toward each goal.

  • Planning of educational growth for the team (courses/training/conferences)
  • Compliance with workplace health and safety requirements and directions when working on customer / dealer / end user sites

Desired Skills:

We would like to see:

  • Thorough knowledge and experience in the field of electronics is required;
  • Excellent knowledge of laboratory equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, O-Scopes, Network analyzers, power meters, etc;
  • Capability to technically support the team (gain a better understanding of the team members and of the challenges they may be facing);
  • Capability to empower the team by setting team goals (providing members with clarity on what they’re working towards and align with how they are contributing to the team and business success);
  • Capability to listen to the team members, communicate effectively with them in order to give feedback when this is required;

For our Pisa based office we are looking for a Customer Support Specialist.
As a Customer Support Specialist, you will be part of the Customer Care Mining team, that is an internal and external landmark for Technical Support, traveling worldwide and providing support for our products involved in the field of application that concerns the monitoring of the stability of opencast mine slopes and the measurement of vibrations, caused by blasting activities. 


What we want you to do:


  • Post-sales support on IDS GeoRadar Mining products 
  • Technical trainings and demos 
  • Installation of the monitoring equipment at customer’s site 
  • Creation and maintenance of user manuals and technical support procedures 
  • Data analysis and reporting 

Travel Requirements:

 

  • Max 20% of the working time 
  • Typical trip length 1 week (rarely 2 weeks) 
  • Travel all around the world to visit mining and geosystem customer 
  • Availability to visit open pit mine and underground mine

  • Master or Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Geology

Monitoring Radar Product Manager

For our Pisa based office we are looking for a Product Manager that will be part of the Monitoring Radar Product Management team and will act as a product manager of one of the monitoring radar product line, involving both the radar equipment and the related software.


What we want you to do:


  • Define product roadmap strategy, by reviewing product specifications and requirements; appraising new product ideas and/or product changes 
  • Determines customers' needs and market trend and translate it in requirements and concept workable by the R&D departments 
  • Perform product test to validate initial requirements before product release 
  • Provide feedback and detailed requirements to the R&D department during the project involving the development of a new product or of a product evolution. 
  • Assesses market competition by comparing the company's product to competitors' products 
  • In case of software products, act as Product Owner following the agile development methodology 
  • Support the Business Unit in the activity related to the launch of new products (datasheet, brochure, social media messaging framework) 
  • Represent the company by visiting customers to solicit feedback on company products and services 
  • Be the best user of the product  
  • Perform in collaboration with the R&D and/or the Customer Care departments new product, prototype trials at customer sites. 
  • Gain a deep understanding of customer experience, identify and fill product gaps and generate new ideas that grow market share, improve customer experience and drive growth 
  • Evaluate new product profitability by preparing return-on-investment analyses based on project cost and sales assumption established R&D and sales department 
  • Scope and prioritize product lifecycle activities based on business and customer impact 
  • Provide status of ongoing projects and future projects to the internal Stakeholder 
  • Represent the product reference person for internal Stakeholder and Customers
