IDS GeoRadar announces Stream UP
PISA, Italy (28 April 2020) — IDS GeoRadar, a Hexagon company, announced today Stream UP, the latest Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) offering in its Stream product line.
The new GPR is multi-channel, multi-frequency, double polarized and lightweight. The system is dedicated to utility mapping on extensive areas that facilitates the whole process (before, during and after the acquisition).
Stream UP is easy to assemble directly on site needing only two people for transportation and assembly and just one person to make it operational). Furthermore, the total absence of contact with the ground dramatically reduces the stress and consequently maintenance.
The system now has acquisition speed up to 150 km/h (with a suggested acquisition speed of 60 km/h) and data quality higher than ever with the new control unit eDAD-S.
Thanks to the new control unit, dense array antennas and dynamic stacking, data quality has been excellently maintained even at high speed. The system is compact, still keeping IDS GeoRadar dual polarized antenna concept.
